- WE have started the 'land looking' process and we couldn't be more excited about it... we saw some truly astonishing pieces of property this weekend and very much look forward to advancing our visions and dreams...
- This is Garon (and Melanie - his wife - not pictured)... They are our most recent client(s) and to say they are both fantastic individuals and an impressive couple would sell them short. This photo is capturing the end of our meeting / presentation - where we walked them through the design of their new residence + workshop (BARNdominium for those who hope to see it on our website). This was the first time we at M I N D M A D E decided to present in VR... mainly due to our incredulous nature upon consideration of its effectiveness and in turn, efficiency (which will be discussed in a future post). Needless to say, what we witnessed in response (from Garon and Melanie) was elation and a much deeper understanding of the design - so the conclusion, is to, without a doubt pursue the implementation of VR as a dominant asset in all of our design presentations.
- We, as designers, have a duty and obligation to be communicators of utmost intention and clarity and with this comes a necessary exploration in the resources we have to do so. I would encourage all of you, regardless of profession or walk of life, to explore all of the utilities and tools that are available to make us unique and remarkable communicators, educators, and presenters. At the end of the day we are merely authors of a physical, 3-dimensional novel and a 'successful' project can be found in the derivative of delivery.
