Description ::
- There is a common theme in Park’s Facility buildings… they are typically pre-engineered metal structures. So, the challenge became an exploration in form, detailing, and uncommon executions in said building type.
- The intention was to encapsulate a common ground that was an extension of the park in contrast to what could be seen as an infraction of the context. Covered assembly space, skins that act as visual filters, a clean material palette and appropriate scaling of the mass were all conscious endeavors that were meant to push the limitations set forth by both standard mentalities and traditional building tectonics without disregarding financial obligations.
- The profiles of the building pay homage to the traditional agriculture archetype while advancing the expected formula through modern lines, unanticipated geometrical shaping, and sharp stature.
